I'm Back.....!!!!!!

Ok, so I was MIA for awhile there.  My “day job” got a little hectic, but I think that is now under (somewhat) control.  I’ve been meaning to get back on my blog for awhile now.  My friends asked me about it… so I guess maybe some one do care and look at this thing.  So here I am again… and to make up for lost time, I am loading two cards today.  The first one is my favorite card I’ve made to date. The second one is to get everyone excited about Halloween!  No, I’m not early…. I’m seeing Thanksgiving and Christmas stuff up in stores already, so it’s ok to put Halloween cards up in September… actually, I may be a little late.  =\

Oh, be sure to check out the new links to Stampin’ Up! catalogs on the right side of my blog!! I feel so technically capable for being able to add them on here.  So just click on them to make me happy!! Enjoy!!

Heart String

Woohoo… tomorrow is hump day, the half way mark to the weekend.  This weekend will be extra special because it’s Chinese New Year (year of the Rabbit).  My parents are coming into town and we’ll be celebrating ( celebrating = eating ).

So now that we are officially in February, I am looking forward to Valentine’s Day.  Today’s share is the third card we made at my January workshop.  It is a CASED from another stamping lady that was nice enough to share her card.  Here’s to a lovely February for everyone!

TGIM, Not

Just another Manic Monday, I wish it was Friday….
Here I am with the second card that we made at my workshop a couple of weekends ago.  This is using the Stampin’ Up! Loads of Love stamp set.  This is one of the first stamp sets that I got when I first discovered Stampin’ Up! two years ago.  I’m not a pick-up kind of gal, but this stamp set is sooo cute and so versatile.  There is a coordinating stamp set call Loads of Love Accessories.  Between these two sets, you can put all kinds of stuff in the back of the pick-up truck and call it a whatever-you-want card!  AND if you want to take it up another level, there are two Stampin’ Around Wheels that go with these sets also:  Tailgating with little dogs running after the truck, and Time for a Tree which would be great for a Christmas card.

This card, we are going with the Valentine’s theme.  We used the water coloring technique on the truck and even jazzed it up a bit by using the Top Coat Smooch on the silvery parts of the truck.

Please feel free to contact me if you want to attend one of my monthly workshops or learn more about Stampin' Up products.

Forget Me Not

Hi readers!
I didn’t forget about you… it’s just been a little crazy at work lately.  I’ve been meaning to drop by here and share a card, but I got sick last Sunday and was out of work for two days.  You would think being at home for two days would allow for much blogging and stamping…. No, I mean I was really sick.  So to make up for that, I will post three days in a row.  Hopefully, that will make up for it and you will forgive me.

I had my January workshop last weekend and had so much fun with my stamping friends.  I truly enjoy having them over and sharing my hobby and chit chatting with them.  it was a good start of the stamping new year.

Here is one of the cards that we made.  Enjoy and have a great week!

Are you there Friday? It's me, Macy.

Hello there… and you thought I was not going to make it for three weeks in a row. (I had the same thought.)  But here I am, another week, another post.  Work is still very busy.  Crazy hours at the office mean no time at home to be crafty.  That is why I am soooo looking forward to this weekend!  Because this is our monthly Stampin’ Saturday weekend.  My stamping friends are coming over for some good food, great conversations and lots of stamping.  And this is even more exciting because Stampin’ Up new mini catalog is out full of new productions and Sale-a-bration is starting.  Friday, why does it take you so long to get to me??

Today share is a card I made with embossing and masking technique… I’m posting this because it reminds me of my days – dark when I go into the office, dark when I get off from work.

Baby It’s Cold Outside.....

The temperature in Houston this week is forecasted to get down to the 30s and even to 29F on Tuesday night.  That is considered to be very cold in Houston!  So in celebration of the cold winter weather (which I do like better than very hot summer nights), here is a card with a wintery theme (ok... it's the sweater and hat on the squirrel).

Have a great week and stay toasty!
